SBCS’ Youth Prevention and Intervention team supports at-risk youth ages six to 18 and their families to help them stay in school and out of the Juvenile Justice System. With a strengths-based family approach that takes into account the multitude of challenges faced by this group — delivered in partnership with schools, law enforcement and other agencies — SBCS’ YPI team works to keep youth in school and become thriving members of society. This team remains focused on their mission at this unprecedented time and continues to provide, receive and accept new referrals as well as maintaining services for existing clients virtually.
