KPBS segment of Savor San Diego highlighted SBCS’ Mi Escuelita and Trolley Trestle in their recent Culinary Healing episode. Host Su-Mei Yu, notable chef/owner of San Diego’s Saffron restaurant, spent time with staff, preschoolers and youth transitioning out of foster care to learn how food is used as a healing tool.
