It’s been a tradition. Each year, South Bay Community Services (SBCS) partners with community to help hundreds of children and their families who would otherwise go without during the holidays. For families who are struggling, the holidays can be especially challenging. But year after year, we come together to give hope and sense of community. Join SBCS this year for Hope for the Holidays. There are many ways to participate.
- Host an office or neighborhood collection drive of nonperishable food items, diapers, kitchen or self-care items. SBCS will match your donations with a local family or youth in need.
- Grant a child’s holiday wish. SBCS will match you with a wish which has been collected from children and youth receiving services through SBCS. Many reside in SBCS emergency and transitional housing due to domestic violence and homelessness or are youth transitioning from foster care. Others are receiving support through various SBCS programs such as children’s mental health, youth prevention and intervention, affordable housing or community services for families.
- Make a year-end tax-deductible donation. Your gift will helps provide shelter, food, academic support, therapeutic services, job readiness, counseling and more. Donate securely online at www.SouthBayCommunityServices.org.
No gift is too small. Every gift matters and is an investment that will continue to give for years to come.
