First 5 First Steps Program
Becoming a parent changes your life. Our dedicated and friendly staff are here to support you through the joys and uncertainties of parenting.
First 5 First Steps is a free family support program that provides in-home services to help strengthen parent-child relationships, promote healthy child development, and enhance family well-being.
Through regular one-on-one visits and fun monthly groups, your Family Support Specialist will support you with:
- Preparing for prenatal visits
- Learning about your child’s development and what to expect at each stage
- Making learning fun
- Using positive parenting strategies
- Building healthy relationships
- Connecting with doctors and other community resources
- Finding tips for staying healthy
- Managing stress
- Setting goals for the future
- Navigating the hard parts of parenting
