ABC10 joined SBCS alongside Mi Escuelita Therapeutic Preschool students, teachers, families, and caregivers to celebrate another graduating class of this unique preschool. Twenty-six graduates walked across the stage, sang songs, and received supplies for their next step, Kindergarten.

Mi Escuelita is a free, full-time therapeutic preschool and is the only one of its kind in Southern California. Mi Escuelita is designed specifically for children ages three to five years old who have been impacted by family violence. The school uses both academic and social-emotional curriculums to teach children, and has both teachers and therapists on staff. Families and caregivers also receive therapeutic support from the school.
