Children’s Mental Health

Our children’s mental health program offers a comprehensive array of outpatient therapeutic services for children and adolescents. Services include individual therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, case management and links to additional resources. Services are also provided in Spanish (servicios en Español).

Who Qualifies?

  • Ages 5 to 21
  • Who have Medi-Cal
  • Who are suffering in one or more areas of their lives due to behavioral or emotional distress

Our mental health prevention and intervention program – known as Dinosaur School – is a free program for children and parents designed to strengthen a child’s social-emotional skills and provide a strong foundation for their academic success. Parent and small groups are offered in addition to monthly activities for the whole family.

Who Qualifies?

  • All pre-k to 3rd-grade students attending designated schools the following school districts: National School District, Chula Vista Elementary School District, San Ysidro Union School District and San Ysidro School District.

Important Information About Payments to Doctors and Hospitals

We want to keep you informed about important healthcare information.
