Congratulations to the Mi Escuelita Therapeutic Preschool graduating class of 2022!
This week SBCS joined members of the community including Superintendent of the Chula Vista Elementary School District, Dr. Eduardo Reyes, teachers, parents, staff therapists, donors, and of course the students themselves to celebrate as 24 students marked their transition from preschool to kindergarten.
While at Mi Escuelita, these little graduates have taken tremendous strides to prepare for bright futures in kindergarten and beyond. This therapeutic preschool is about much more than ABC’s. Through a variety of therapeutic methods, students learn healthy coping habits, positive social skills, and are helped to heal from traumatic experiences.

Mi Escuelita Therapeutic Preschool is a one-of-a-kind program for children impacted by violence and abuse, designed to support students and their families. With four classrooms, four full-time therapists on site, specialized staff and curricula, SBCS provides holistic support for our youngest victims, so they enter kindergarten ready to learn, thrive and succeed.
